766 Stewart Creek Road Daintree QLD 4873
8km beyond Daintree Village, at the end of a scenic valley trail lies this peaceful haven, alive with birds and butterflies and filled with tropical gardens, rainforest, tropical fruit trees and easy walking trails. You may spot a wallaby or a bandicoot and if you are really lucky perhaps a shy platypus.
There are 3 private bungalows, each with a verandah overlooking the wetlands-dam, tropical gardens and rainforest. The perfect spot for your own 'breakfast with the birds'! A complimentary breakfast basket is delivered to your bungalow each afternoon.
Each bungalow has either a King/Twin or Queen-size bed, microwave, cooktop, fridge, all cooking utensils and linen; ensuite bathroom with large shower and great water-pressure from our own underground spring; whisper-quiet air-conditioners and ceiling fans and full insect-screening.
The Shed, a lovely historic old open-sided building, is home to a gas BBQ, table and seats, an "un-fridge"(!), jacuzzi, dart-board and sundry books and board-games.
No passing traffic, TVs or radios - and your mobile phone will only work in Daintree Village, 8km away. (But if you really must keep in touch limited free wifi is available.)
Your on-site hosts, Peter and Daphne, are happy to respect your privacy but are always available if needed.
They hope to welcome you soon!
